1. Who we are

Minesweeper Battle (the “Service”) is operated as a free online minesweeper platform. Contact: support@minesweeperbattle.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data — when you sign in via Google OAuth: your email, display name, and avatar URL.
  • Gameplay data — boards played, win/lose results, completion times, daily streaks, in-game virtual token balance, and lobby/race participation.
  • Technical data — IP address (transient, for rate limiting), user agent, language preference, and authentication tokens stored in cookies.
  • Analytics — anonymous pageview and event data via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

3. Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Essential — JWT access and refresh tokens, color-mode preference. Required for the site to function.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics (anonymised IP). You may opt out.
  • Advertising — Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies to personalise ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud. See section 4 for details.

EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors are shown a Google-certified consent banner (Funding Choices) on first visit and may withdraw consent at any time via the “Manage privacy settings” control in the banner.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-7014744652532083) to display ads. The following disclosures are required by Google’s policies:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Alternatively, users may opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info (US), www.youronlinechoices.eu (EU), or optout.networkadvertising.org.
  • Some third-party vendors may also serve cookies on this site through the DoubleClick DART cookie. More information is available in Google’s Advertising Policies.

5. Third-party services

  • Google — OAuth login (Sign in with Google), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads (conversion tracking), Google AdSense, Google Funding Choices (consent management).
  • Telegram — Mini App SDK and Stars payment when accessed via the Telegram bot.

These providers process limited data under their own privacy policies.

6. Virtual currency

Tokens shown on the Balance page are an in-game virtual currency. They have no monetary value, are not redeemable for real money or cryptocurrency, and are not transferable outside the Service.

7. Data retention

Account and gameplay data are retained for as long as your account is active. On account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Aggregated leaderboard records may be retained anonymously.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, California, or any jurisdiction with equivalent data-protection laws, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your personal data. Contact support@minesweeperbattle.com and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from such users. If you believe we have, please contact us for removal.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the homepage. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
